Tabusintac LSD
It looks like the last few days of summer are here and the frosty nights are here. It is
time to get things put away for the fall and winter months. I guess we should not
complain as we had a wonderful August and September.

The TCDCI is getting geared up to do a five year plan and would like ideas on what we
should be doing. If you have an idea please contact us at our meetings the 1st Tuesday
of every month at the hall.

The Tabusintac Local Service are still having meetings with our MLA and the Minister of transport about the Straight Brook Rd and the Cains Pt Bridge.

The Light House is coming along slowly but will be finished for the fall. We Hope to have public tours soon.

TCDCI has Picnic tables for sale for $60.00 Contact Rick Matheson at 779-8067

Here is some wisdom attributed to Will Rogers:
Contributed by Nancy Avery

1. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

2. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it and put it back in your pocket.

3. There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by
observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.

4. Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

5. If you're riding' ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it's
still there.

6. Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier'n puttin' it back.

7. After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up
until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your
mouth shut.

Jokes of the Month
A dumb blonde was really tired of being made fun of, so she decided to have her hair she
would look like a brunette.
When she had brown hair, she decided to take a drive in the country.
After she had been driving for a while, she saw a farmer and a flock of sheep and thought,
"Oh! Those sheep are so adorable!"
She got out and walked over to the farmer and said,
"If I can guess how many sheep you have, can I take one home?"
The farmer, being a bit of a gambler himself, said she could have a try.
The blonde looked at the flock and guessed, "157."
The farmer was amazed - she was right! So the blonde, (who looked like a brunette), picked one out and got back into her car.
Before she left, farmer walked up to her and said.
"If I can guess the real color of your hair, can I have my dog back?"

You should be ashamed,' the father told his son, Andy, 'When Abraham Lincoln was
your age, he used to walk ten miles every day to get to school.'
'Really?' Andy responded
