SOFTBALL: Please contact Lloyd Ross at 776-9188 if you would
like to book
a softball tournament. Two tournaments have tentatively been booked for the month of July.
There was no interest expressed last year for Thursday night ball, however, we hope to see some interest this year
and would start in early July.
It is a great form of exercise
for all ages. On a final note for softball, we are looking for anyone interested
in starting up T-ball for the kids some evening
during the week. Support would be provided for this endeavor if there is anyone interested in undertaking this.
CANADA DAY: Look for an announcement in the next Tabby Tattler regarding Canada Day
activities on July 1st. We had lots of fun last year with an excellent
turn out, so we hope to do it again.
Thank
You!
To all the people of Tabusintac and area,
a sincere "thank you" for the prayers, messages of hope ,cards, flowers and gifts received during my recent illness.
I am especially grateful for
the prayers, felt protected, and had surgery without fear. Powerful medicine!
Again, thank you.
Sincerely,

Jokes
A man and his wife were sitting in the living
room and he said to her,
"Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on
some machine
and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
His wife got up, unplugged the TV and threw
out
all of his beer.
Little Pete came home from the playground
with a bloody nose, black eye, and
torn clothing. It was obvious he’d been
in a bad fight and lost. While his father
was patching him up, he asked his son what
happened.
“Well, Dad,” said Pete, “ I challenged Larry to a duel. And, you know, I gave him his choice
of weapons.”
“Uh-huh,” said the father, “that seems fair.”
“I know, but I never
thought he’d choose his sister!”
Springtime
How beautiful
is springtime—
The Flowers
all in bloom;
It seems
that Mother Nature
And the Good
Lord are in tune.
To see the
tulips open up
Each one
its different hue;
Indeed it
is a miracle
That only
God can do.
Each stem
so straight and perfect
Pointing
upward to the sky;
I marvel
a their beauty
As I go passing
by.
The cherry
trees all blooming,
Humming bees
a- flying round;
And their
flakey snow-white blossoms
Falling gently
to the ground
As I sit
and gaze and wonder
And watch
each petal fall,
I ask myself
in silence—
What’s
the meaning of it all?
But, of one
thing I am certain,
And I’m
sure I’ll always be—
That the
Good Lord made them beautiful
For folks
like you and me.
